The Olympic Games are world renowned festivals of sports competition. Athletes from all around the world gather in one city and compete against each other in a variety of sports to realise their dreams and experience the glory of the Olympics.

The Olympic Games originated as religious festivals in ancient Greece, from 776-394 B.C. The concept of the games was again realised as the modern Olympic Games nearly 2300 years later in 1896, with a shift from a religious festival to a sporting spectacle.
